Well, I've received my assignment back today- a bit disapointed with myself :( In hindsight, I shouldn't have removed the widgets I'd installed, even though I couldn't add what I wanted to. On reflection, perhaps I need to try to use more simple versions of the widgets. I have to remember this is a learning unit.
On a more positive note, I have successfully created a discussion document on google docs to record our group discussions. I've changed the settings so all members of the group can contribute, I think we have a focus topic now so all we need to do is start! I have mixed feelings about assignment 2a, I'm excited to be working in group (another first) but nervous about producing something that potentially a teacher could use in a classroom environment. The outline is to develop an 'Authentic learning ' lesson, I'm hoping we can met the challange and produce something with an 'Authentic learning' outcome.
