This weekend I have been given the task of finding applications relevent for SAER students to use with an ipad. I have been searching and have come up with a really good site with lots of free download applications to use in different grades and curriculum areas. http://teachwithyouripad.wikispaces.com/  is the site I've found to have the most educational applications, I thought I'd post it on the discussion board to allow others the chance to view it. The school I work at have purchased five ipads to be used in a classroom setting. As some students find it difficult to access the mainstream curriculum, we are constantly trying to find ways to assist them in their learning. This unit has highlighted the need to teach students 'authentic' lessons and so while I've been browsing for websites I'm seeking out those that I feel will have more of an 'authentic' application. I have added a couple of screen shot images of the home page and one of the applications I found to be useful.
