I have just successfully figured out, single handedly how to retrieve my recipe creation from smilebox to my website!!
I'm at this moment jumping for joy! After creating one of my favourite recipes on smilebox I thought I could only send it to an email address. Then after having a good look around the site- there it was, I could send it as a blog. in the small recess of my mind I vaguely remember having to copy and paste a Htm.. something or other. (that's technical jargon). After clicking on the icon for 'blog' I followed the prompts, copy and pasted, opened my blog inserted a html icon and .... voila!
You maybe able to read between the lines I'm really pleased with myself. :)

Well, thanks to Jenni I know what I need to do now with my Skype images. I've written the letter to my dad (in extra large font) explaining the benefits of installing Skype, I think he'll be won over as soon as I mention it's free! I've inserted the images I wanted to use to make it a little easier for him to follow the instructions and now all that's left to do is tweak it abit.
I'm now looking at downloading images for my recipes from flicr, as I couldn't download from taste.com. This left ...

Well, its almost time to submit my assingment 1b and I have to say that although I've enjoyed working on these new social resources I haven't found all of them easy to navigate.
Part one of my assignment is to teach my Dad how to use Skype. Easy I know, but I've never used printscreen shot before and I have to say it took me a long while to figure that one out! Today I've managed to load onto my website the google weather gadget. Very pleased with myself :) Not sure if I've got it all sussed out yet as the displayed weather is nothing like the weather out of my window. oops!
