Well, its almost time to submit my assingment 1b and I have to say that although I've enjoyed working on these new social resources I haven't found all of them easy to navigate.
Part one of my assignment is to teach my Dad how to use Skype. Easy I know, but I've never used printscreen shot before and I have to say it took me a long while to figure that one out! I'll spare you boring details but suffice to say dinner was being prepared when I started and we were well into cleaning up mode by the time I'd finished.I now know what the 'fn' key is for on my keyboard.
I tried to use 'snipping tool' - (google told me how good it was) I found out I don't have it installed on my laptop so I decided to download it for free. It's not as straight forward as I'd imagined, my form of vista doesn't support 'snipping tool' or so the window told me! The way around this little hiccup was to printscreen shot, copy and paste into paint then crop my picture.
Now I'm concentrating on copyright etiquette. Will let you know how I go with that one.
