After a long chat with myself  I decided to see if I could add another dimension to my social networking page by making it more interactive. I have added two short self-help clips explaining how to make free video calls and screen share function. My thinking behind using the video calls was to allow my parents to see their grandchildren, how they've changed and grown. This will also be beneficial to my children to be able to see and connect to people of an older generation. The screen share option was something I thought I could use again with my family overseas. You can view photos and chat in 'real time' so the idea was to show my sisters and brothers how far we've come with renovating our house and also to share special moments with them. I also thought the screen share might be applied to my studies. Sometimes to be able to see what someone is trying to explain to me is really helpful. The technical side of linking the video was relatively straight forward, although at first I didn't know what it meant to 'embed video'!! Once I'd copy and pasted the html code onto my website I thought I'd better write an introduction on it. My main concern now is to reference the site correctly.
